Introduction ClipPAL (“we,” “our,” or “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how ClipPAL handles your data. Our core philosophy is simple: Your data belongs to you and stays on your Mac.

1. Data Collection & Storage ClipPAL is designed as an offline-first utility.

• Clipboard History: The app monitors your system clipboard to provide history functionality. All clipboard data is stored locally on your device (sandboxed within the macOS container).

• No Server Transmission: We do not transmit your clipboard content, history, or usage data to any external servers. We have no access to your data.

• Sensitive Data: ClipPAL is programmed to respect standard macOS privacy flags (e.g., org.nspasteboard.TransientType and ConcealedType). Data copied from password managers (like 1Password, Keychain, etc.) that use these flags is automatically ignored and never saved to history.

2. Analytics & Tracking We do not use any third-party analytics tools (such as Google Analytics or Firebase) to track your usage. We do not collect any personally identifiable information (PII).

3. Permissions

• Accessibility / AppleEvents: ClipPAL may request permissions solely to function (e.g., to paste content directly). These permissions are never used for data collection.

4. Changes to This Policy We may update this policy from time to time. Since the app does not collect user emails, we recommend checking this page for updates. Continued use of the app implies acceptance of the updated policy.
